GEAC BECOMES EXTENSITY!

Aexis BI's performance management software Geac changes its name to Extensity, following the new leadership of Golden Gate Capital.

The new name translates the engagement towards the users to create a surplus value for the existing financial applications and to facilitate the decision-making in their company. No product changes are planned - the financial and performance management solutions will remain unchanged.

Extensity's Financial Applications unit will be divided into two operational groups: Enterprise Solution Group and Performance Management Group, led by respectively Chris Murphy and Jim McDevitt. The overall responsibility will be observed by Ken Walters as Chief Executive Officer.

With this acquisition, Golden Gate Capital invests once again in an expanding organization, joining the other owned companies, selected on their growth potential, offered software and extensive market knowledge for their customers.

For more information, do not hesitate to contact Christian Pauwels.

Be sure to check the new Extensity website.
