Essbase Excel Add-In (1 day)
Attendees:
End-users who wish to use the Excel interface for Essbase.
Prerequisites:
No specific prerequisites are defined.
General Objectives:
The objective of this training is to teach you to:
- Navigate the multi-dimensional information from with in excel.
- Learn how to rotate, zoom, retrieve and sort data.
You will learn to:
Understand the concepts and the advantages of the multi-dimensional database.
Manipulate and navigate in an Essbase database in the Excel front end.
Master all the navigation options:
- Zoom in, zoom out, pivot the dimensions.
- Relation parent-child, descendant, sibling, cousin.
- Levels and generations.
Apply the Essbase styles in Excel.
Use the Query Designer, which allows you to define queries on Essbase in Excel.
